Carl was a young man with a thirst for "knowledge", but he was living in a complex time, in a
country under a fascist dictatorial regime that had been in place for decades, where censorship
prevailed and access to information was denied by all means. In this difficult political scenario, he
had a loyal ally in his grandfather Albert. Albert, like Carl, was a man for whom knowledge did not
take up time or space, and together they shared a deep desire to explore the "world" and the
mysteries it held.
One day their lives took an unexpected turn when they were visited by Karlo, an alien being who
revealed a wonderful secret: the possibility of "time travel" to distant times.
What had seemed like the stuff of science fiction became a tangible reality for Carl and his
grandfather.
Karlo, from Kerra, a distant planet with far more advanced technology than Earth, opened “doors”
for them so that they could witness first-hand the events that have shaped human history.
The first journey took them to a prehistoric era where they were able to observe, interact and
understand how their ancestors survived in a wild and untamed world.
This experience would set the tone for a series of fantastic adventures.
From that moment on, for Carl and Albert, "in loco" knowledge became a reality that forever
changed their lives and their perspective on the world and human history.
